Nucleus Retail Incubator is innovative in both its creation and goal. Created to help local entrepreneurs develop and grow retail businesses, Nucleus Retail Incubator is a unique incubation environment for retail businesses; a place not only to help visionaries and entrepreneurs turn their concepts and dreams into a reality, but to also help nurture and grow them, successfully establishing them as well-developed retail venue.
We are currently soliciting donations from the community to meet our fundraising goals to set up the necessary facility to make this project a reality. All of the donated funds, and a majority of the materials and labor going into the project, are being donated by local businesses, both big and small. Your support of Nucleus represents a unique opportunity to formalize partnerships among small business assistance providers, community organizations and corporate/private sector partners, foster entrepreneurial development and better serve the small business community. This project will complement initiatives to recruit corporations to the city and to grow various industry clusters, as well as advance the healthy revitalization of Downtown Cedar Rapids.
